The roofs at the new East Shore development were once again on the agenda. The board voted to send a letter to the East Shore Design Committee in regards to concerns some have about the appearance of the roofs on some of the structures in the East Shore area.
This meeting included an update on the increased law enforcement for The Woodlands. The ramp-up of the increased law enforcement is behind schedule. Originally scheduled to be phased in over three months ending in March, the new timeline has pushed this date out to at least May possibly June of this year.
A map of the new law enforcement zones was included in the presentation. I have requested a copy of the map. I noticed that Beth Kuhles, a Chronicle reporter, wrote that the map was not being released because of potential boundary changes in the future. It will be interesting to see how they respond to my request.
Another executive session was held regarding the franchise fee issue. After the session the board voted to spend up to $25,000 on this issue.
