It appears on Thursday of last week, the current chairman of the board for The Woodlands Township, Nelda Blair, sent an email to The Woodlands/South County Chamber of Commerce members.
One line in the email, which can be read here, states, “As Chamber members, it is our responsibility to be activists for our business community.” This email highlights the business-above-all-else mentality that is so pervasive in the current Woodlands leadership.
It is also interesting to see that Jeff Long, current president of the Woodlands Community Association (an association supposedly representing the residents), is finally outed as a self-serving supporter of the Developer/big business.
Remember, if the current leadership is still entrenched in 2014, the word incorporation (becoming a city) will be all but a distant memory.
