District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
Deputy G. Fruge was dispatched to a welfare check at 25226 Grogan's Mill Road. The vehicle was located and Deputy Fruge made contact with driver, W/M, 48. The driver had a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and he had a difficult time keeping his balance. Subject agreed to field sobriety testing and after tests were conducted, it was determined driver was intoxicated. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, M/B.
On 05/01/2008, 0805, Deputy R. Woodrick was dispatched to Gleneagles North in reference to an indecent exposure. Deputies met with complainant and two witnesses who advised a white male was naked and exposing himself to children at the bus stop. The man was located at his home and witnesses identified him the man they observed at the bus stop. He was arrested for Indecency with a Child/Exposure, F3.
On 05/02/08, 1657, Deputy T. Mccoy was dispatched to 1025 Sawdust Rd in reference to a Theft. Deputy met with an employee who witnessed the suspect taking a belt and hair bands. While talking to the suspect, WF, 29, the deputy noticed, in plain view, a marijuana cigarette. Upon further investigation the deputy also found three Xanax pill in a plastic baggy. Suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, M/A M/B.
On 05/01/08, 2355, Deputy D. Hernandez initiated a traffic stop for Defective Equipment (muffler). Driver did not have his driver's license or insurance. When the officer questioned him if he had anything illegal in the vehicle the driver stated that he had an open container. After further investigation the officer also found 0.83 oz. of marijuana. Driver was arrested for possession of marijuana, M/B, and cited for defective equipment (muffler), no driver's license on demand, and no insurance and open container.
On 04/28/08, 1752, Sergeant S. Altemus heard an attempt to locate on MCSO primary for a vehicle that was just involved in an accident and fled the scene. Sergeant was flagged down by several individuals who blocked subject at the entrance light to the shopping center on Grogans Mill Rd. The subject,WM, 30, kept rummaging through center console of vehicle when officer ordered him out of the vehicle. After second command to exit vehicle the subject was detained. After search of suspect's vehicle the officer found several bill bottles in the center console where suspect was rummaging around. 25 Vicodin pills, 16 Soma pills, 26 Xanax pills were found in center console of vehicle, 4.1 grams of Vicodin and .6 grams of Xanax were found in suspects pocket, and Two glass vials labeled Novadex 50 ml and Cienbuterol 20ml were located in the vehicle and filled with a clear fluid. Also 4 unknown pills totaling 1.1 grams were found during the search. Subject was arrested for Possession of controlled substance x2, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of marijuana, M/A, M/B, M/A, M/B.
District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)
On 05/04/08, 0102, Corporal J.P. Gonzales and Investigator D. Wallace were notified of a physical disturbance in progress. Officers observed two people in a physical altercation. One was tasered to break up the disturbance. Three, WM, 26, 46, 47, were arrested and cited for public intoxication, M/C.
On 04/26/08, 1515, Deputy D. Houstoun, was dispatched to 3040 College Park Dr. in reference to a theft and criminal trespass report. Suspect, W/F, 35, was observed placing several items from grocery department, women's department, and men's department in to her cart, then bagging items up and leaving the store with out paying. Suspect had also been issued a trespass warning in the past. Suspect was arrested for theft and criminal trespassing, SJF / MB.
