On March 5, 2008, Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an Aggravated Robbery on the bike path near Southshore Park in The Woodlands, Texas. Detective Brent Akin conducted a lengthy investigation into the events.
During the investigation Detective Akin found that the victim had told conflicting stories about the robbery. After extensive interviews by Detective Akin it was found that the robbery was a fabrication, made-up by the victim.
This case will be turned over to The Montgomery District Attorney’s Office, for possible charges of False Report to Police Officer.
