District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
On 03/27/2008, 0201, Sgt. J. Jenkins and Deputy M. Beasley responded to a criminal trespass in progress call in the 100 block of N. Magnolia Pond Place. The suspect fled the scene and was stopped at 5055 W. Panther Creek by Sgt. Jenkins. Deputy Beasley arrived and spoke with suspect, W/M, 46. Suspect had a strong odor of alcohol and his eyes were bloodshot. Deputy Beasley conducted SFST test on the suspect which determined the suspect was intoxicated. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, M/B.
Deputy D. Hernandez and Deputy D. Cogdill were dispatched to Russett Wood Ct and Dunlin Meadow Drive in reference to a suspicious person. Deputy Cogdill made contact with the white male, 25. Suspect advised he was selling books in the area. Two complainants arrived and stated the suspect said he lived on this street and was selling medical books for college expenses. He was determined suspect was lying about who he was and what he was doing to obtain money from complainants. Both complainants gave the suspect a check. Suspect, who is an out of state resident, was arrested for Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information, SJF.
On 04/02/2008, 2230, Deputy R. Moody was dispatched to the 25000 block of Borough Park Drive in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, Deputy Moody observed a Hispanic male walking off a stairwell from the apartment with the disturbance. The suspect was instructed to stop, the suspect ran. Suspect was apprehended near Budde Road and Valleywood. He was taken into custody and arrested for Evading, M/B.
District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)
On 04/05/2008, 1820, Deputy D. Weatherford was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a theft. Complainant advised two female subjects entered a dressing room with several clothing items. After the checking the room, complainant found there were no clothing left in the room. The two females left the store without attempting to purchase the items. Both were escorted back into the store and Deputy Weatherford arrested them for Theft, M/B. All merchandise was recovered.
Deputy R. Almendarez was dispatched on 04/01/2008, 1330, to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, complainant advised a white female juvenile put several items of jewelry in her purse and left the store. Loss Prevention personnel escorted her back into the store. Deputy Almendarez identified the juvenile as a runaway from Harris County. She was arrested for Theft, M/B.
