District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

On 03/23/2008, 2115, Sgt. B. Fitzgerald observed a vehicle swerving from one lane to another. Sgt. Fitzgerald attempted to stop vehicle while it continued swerving and running a red light. Vehicle stopped and Sgt. Fitzgerald asked the driver, W/M, 30, to exit the vehicle show DL and insurance. Driver advised he had no DL and did not speak English, only Spanish. The driver smelled of alcoholic and displayed poor coordination. Deputy D. Hernandez arrived and conducted field sobriety tests in Spanish. It was determined suspect was intoxicated and he was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, M/B.
On 03/27/2008, Deputy G. Fruge responded to a call for a welfare check in the 25600 block of I-45 N. The property manager advised there were 2 Hispanic males passed out in the laundry room. Deputy Fruge observed both suspects passed out with empty wine bottles around them. EMS was requested and checked both suspects and they were released and arrested for Public Intoxication.
District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)
On 03/18/2008, 1802, Deputy D. Houstoun responded to the 3000 block of College Park in reference to a 911 hang-up call. After speaking to two complainants and several witnesses, it was determined that two black females were attempting to return a used computer that was placed into a new computer box. Both females refused to identify themselves to Deputy Houstoun and both were arrested for Attempted Theft, M/A and Failure to Identify, M/B.
Deputy D. Weatherford initiated a traffic stop on 03/25/2008, 2252, at Six Pines Drive and Lake Front Circle. After making contact with the male driver, 35, Deputy Weatherford detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath. After exiting the vehicle, suspect had bloodshot/glassy eyes and slurred speech. The suspect agreed to sobriety testing and after tests were complete, it was determined suspect was intoxicated. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, M/B.
On 03/26/2008, 1445, Deputy C. Tate was dispatched to Adult Probation for a Warrant Service. The warrant was confirmed and Deputy Tate took subject, W/M, 23, into custody.
On 03/27/2008, 1745, Deputy R. Almendarez was contacted in reference to a Maltese dog being taken from the pet store at The Woodlands Mall. The complainant alerted mall security and a female suspect, 28, along with the dog were escorted back into the mall. The suspect had a white male with her at the pet store. He was found intoxicated at the mall. He was arrested for Public Intoxication, M/C and female was arrested for Theft, M/A.
Deputy S. Spencer was dispatched on 03/28/2008, 2219, to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to an assault. Complainants met with Deputy Spencer and male complainant explained he had been assaulted by an male acquaintance. Suspect’s brother witnessed the assault and verified complainant’s statement. Deputy Spencer located suspect, W/M, 33, at a bar in the area and he was arrested for Assault, M/A.
