District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
Possession of Marijuana
On 2/11/08, Deputy C. Norum, was dispatched to the Starbucks parking lot at 25111 Grogans Mill in reference to a welfare check. A W/M 21 was observed sleeping in his vehicle. The W/M had a bag of the green leafy substance on him. The W/M was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana M/B.
Interference w/ Public Duties/ Evading Arrest-Detention
On 2/11/08, Deputy S. Mullis, was dispatched to a disturbance call at the Grogans Landing Apartments. While investigating a W/F 44 and her juvenile son were refusing to cooperate with the Deputy. When Deputy Mullis attempted to detain the agitated juvenile, the W/F placed her hands on the officer and pushed him. During this time the juvenile ran from the apartment, but was caught in the parking lot. Both W/F and juvenile were arrested. The W/F was charged with Interference with Public Duties M/B and the juvenile was arrested for Evading M/B.
Theft enhanced with Prior Conviction
On 2/12/08, Deputy Wroten, was dispatched to Randall’s at 2250 Buckthorne Dr. in reference to a theft in progress. A W/F 29 was observed in person and on video placing items into a box and passing the point of sale without making payment. The W/F was arrested and charged with Theft M/B, and enhanced charge due to prior theft conviction.
Criminal Trespass / Fail to ID Fugitive / Warrant
On 2/18/08, Deputy J. Solomon, was doing routine patrol in the area of Fox Run. He observed a vehicle parked in the Community Park after dark. Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle and Spring Creek MUD Criminal Trespass charges were filed. A B/M 32 was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass, Fail to Identify Fugitive, and Warrant- M/B, M/A, F. A W/M 24 was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass M/B.
DWI / Fail to ID / No DL on Demand
On 2/19/08, Corporal E. West, arrived at Rayford Rd at Imperial Oaks to assist Deputy B. Rogers, who had stopped a suspected drunk driver. Deputy Rogers was in an unmarked county vehicle and observed the W/F 31 swerving on the roadway and almost causing accidents. When the vehicle stopped at a red light Deputy Rogers exited his vehicle and detained the driver. Deputy E. West performed a series of field sobriety tests. The W/F was arrested and charged with DWI, Fail to ID, No DL on Demand- M/B, M/C, M/C.
Theft from Person
On 2/20/08, Deputy B. Rogers, was dispatched to CVS at 25110 Grogans Mill in reference to a possible Robbery. Store employees advised a W/M entered the store and took money from an open register. Numerous deputies were dispatched to locate the suspect, who fled the scene in a vehicle. The case remains under investigation.
District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)
Theft / Unlawful use of Criminal Instruments
On 2/9/08, Deputy F. Rizk, was dispatched to The Woodlands Mall in reference to a theft in progress. A W/F 40 was observed taking clothing and using a tool to remove the security devise. The W/F was arrested and charged with Theft SJF, enhanced due to prior convictions, and Unlawful use of Criminal Instruments M/B.
Theft
On 2/9/08, Deputy D. Weatherford, was dispatched to Walmart at 3040 College Park in reference to a theft. A W/F 24 was observed by loss prevention concealing items into her purse. The W/F passed all points of sale with out paying for the items and was detained by loss prevention. The W/F was arrested and charged with Theft M/B.

SJF = State Jail Felony - Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and/or confinement in state jail for 180 days to 2 years.
F3 = 3rd Degree Felony - Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and/or confinement in state jail for 2 to 10 years.
