On 01/11/2008, 2130, Deputy B. Flynn was dispatched to the 29000 block of FM 2928. Upon arrival, Deputy met with Texas Ranger K. Pullen, who had two suspects detained. Deputy Pullen had observed the two white males, ages 40 and 43, cut the lock and began pumping diesel in their truck. The two suspects were taken into custody and an inventory of their vehicle produced 10 Soma tabs, 40 Tidanidine tabs and 3 Hydrocodone tabs in the center console. Suspects were arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drug X3. M/ and Criminal Trespass, M/A.

On 01/13/2008, 2042, Sgt. B. Fitzgerald was dispatched to a welfare concern. Reportee advised he observed white female at a party who was under the influence of a narcotic. Suspect left the party with her child and was stopped by Sgt. Fitzgerald in the area of Split Rock and Towering Pines. The driver had slurred speech, displayed poor coordination and difficulty walking. After field sobriety tests were completed, the suspect, W/F, 42, was arrested for DWI, SJF. Her daughter was released to suspect’s parents.

Deputy W. B. Rogers responded on 01/15/2008, 1145, to a suspicious person in the 5000 block of Sawdust. Deputy Rogers observed a W/M, walking in the alley of the shopping center. Suspect was carrying a long object which appeared to possibly be a rifle. After suspect was detained, the object was identified as a Daisy BB gun with scope. The suspect smelled strongly of marijuana and he was lethargic with bloodshot eyes. The suspect had displayed the gun in a manner that was threatening to others. Suspect, W/M, 24, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, M/C and Public Intoxication, M/C.

On 01/20/2008, 2316, Deputy J. P. Gonzales make a routine traffic stop for expired registration. While speaking to driver, Deputy Gonzales could smell the odor of marijuana in the vehicle. The passenger, W/F, 23, had an open warrant and was arrested. The driver, W/F, 25, admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day. The vehicle was searched and 10 pills of Ecstasy were found along with a white substance known to be cocaine. Under the passenger seat, marijuana was found. Suspect was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, F3, Possession of a Controlled Substance, SJF, and Possession of Marijuana, M/B.

W/M = White Male
W/F = White Female
M/A = Class A Misdemeanor - Punishable by a fine not to exceed $4,000 and/or a maximum of one year in jail.
M/B = Class B Misdemeanor - Punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000 and/or a maximum of 180 days in jail.
M/C = Class C Misdemeanor - Punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.
SJF = State Jail Felony - Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and/or confinement in state jail for 180 days to 2 years.
F3 = 3rd Degree Felony - Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and/or confinement in state jail for 2 to 10 years.
