Woodlands Community Association board member Cheryl Crandall Tangen has authored a document regarding The Woodlands’ governance issues. The document should be read by all residents in order to better understand the history of this community as well as the choices Woodlands’ residents will vote on during the November 6, 2007 election.
An additional document directly related to Ms. Tangen’s document is the Proposed Regional Participation Agreement between The Woodlands and Houston. Please be aware, this is a copy of the Proposed agreement. There currently is no agreement. If there is still no agreement on November 6, 2007, we will be voting on a proposed agreement that possibly could change drastically after it is approved. Any changes to the Proposed Regional Participation Agreement after the November 6, 2007 election will not require voter approval.
Both of these documents deserve the resident’s attention.
Also please take notice of House Bill 4109 and Senate Bill 1012 which set up the November vote.
Please read and study these documents carefully.
