The Woodlands Monitor (The Woodlands, TX) - The Woodlands Fire Department and South Montgomery County Fire Department were dispatched to a residential fire on Rockfern in the High Oaks area at approximately 12:10 p.m. today. Units first on-scene reported flames coming from a second story window.
Once on-scene firefighters established a water supply and quickly knocked the fire down.
The lone occupant of the house escaped unharmed.
Initial indications are the fire originated in an upstairs room, which was severely damaged.
Montgomery County Fire Marshal's responded to the scene and are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
