Please Visit the Montgomery County Monitor
As of June 1, 2008, The Woodlands Monitor will no longer be updated. All Woodlands related updates will now occur at its sister site, the Montgomery County Monitor (www.MontgomeryCountyMonitor.com).

The Woodlands Monitor will remain in its current state, without further updates, for archival purposes.

The Woodlands Fire Stations

 

 

Central Fire Station

Technically called Station 1, Central Station, built in 1980 is located at 9951 Grogan's Mill Road.  It is the main fire house and contains all administrative offices.  This station protects the high rise structures and commercial areas that make up Town Center.  Two four-man crews man one pumper truck and one 100 foot ladder truck to serve this area.  The Booster truck for woods and grass fires is housed here along with two jet skis and one zodiac boat used in water rescues.

 

Station No. 2

    

Built in 1986, Station 2 is located at 9303 Gosling Road. This station houses a three-man crew that supports one pumper.  Station 2 is the hazardous materials headquarters for the department and houses one haz-mat truck and needed equipment.  Station 2 also houses a two-man ambulance crew from MCHD.

 

Station No. 3

    


Built in 1995, Station 3 is located at 1522 Sawdust Road. This station houses a three-man crew that supports one pumper.  Station 3 is the technical rescue headquarters for the department and houses one heavy rescue truck and trailer and needed equipment.

 

Station No. 4

    

Built in 1997, Station 4 is located at 7900 Bay Branch Drive. This station houses a three-man crew that supports one pumper.  Station 4 also houses a two-man ambulance crew from MCHD.

 

Station No. 5

    

 

 

Built in 2003, Station 5 is located at 10100 Branch Crossing Drive. This station houses a three-man crew that supports one pumper with a 65 foot aerial telesquirt.  Station 5 also houses a two-man ambulance crew from MCHD.

 

 

Station No. 6

    

 

 

Although not completed, Station 6 is operational with a full crew and equipment.
