08 Rain Event
|
A floating mass of fire ants at Lakeside Park. Banding together and floating around until the flood waters recede is how the fire ants survive these types of water events. You can only imagine what would happen if you were to bump into this group of ants. It consists of literally thousands and thousands of ants. This particular group was about 18" in diameter.
